For the past few years, I have made an effort to buy more of our holiday gifts from small businesses. I myself am a small business owner (Cards by Katie – shameless plug), so I understand the importance of supporting independently owned companies. I’ve put together a list for my readers of some of my favorite items I’ve found on Etsy.com and some of my favorite local small businesses (in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area). If you’re looking for some cute Custom Gifts Ideas, this post should help you out. As I said, I love buying from small businesses, so hopefully, these gift ideas give you some inspiration! There are so many things that people could gift for the holidays, so make sure to look around and find the perfect gifts for the people you’re buying for. Perhaps these personalized bobbleheads would be perfect for a stocking filler. They are something different and they’re personalized, so they’re a lot more special than other gifts. However, if you want a main gift for the holiday season, you can get a custom sequin pillow as a truly unique gift for your friends or family.

My favorite Etsy Holiday Gift Ideas:

Alphabet prints by Jennifer French ~ we gave these to the kids last year for Christmas, and they are gorgeous! I bought frames on clearance at a local craft store. I’m hoping this will be an heirloom treasure for them!

READ Charm Bracelet ~ I can no longer find this bracelet on Etsy, but you can search for any sort of bracelet! Or you can go one step further and make your own. You don’t even have to use special materials to make it sentimental as sometimes the items that you can find around your house can do the trick instead. For example, my friend found a broken zipper that came off her jacket and she decided that using it differently and putting it on a bracelet gave her a perfect and unique piece of jewelry. No one else had anything like it, so this could always be a route that you wish to go down instead.
