This past week was crazy.  Just crazy.  I had a sinus congestion, plus was working with my mom, and then we had Academic menuplanmonday2Team happenings all week, which culminated in the Governor’s Cup District Competition on Saturday.  I’m proud to say that Ella’s Academic Team (the A team) came in 2nd in our region!  We’ll be going on to Regionals in a few weeks, where she will also be taking the math test since she qualified for that.  I’m so proud of her!  So since it was busy we had more than one leftover night, and we ate out once too.  But when I did cook it was YUMMY!  Check out the links below and for more inspiration visit OrgJunkie.com. Happy Menu Planning!

What’s Cooking At Our House:

Cincinnati-Style Chili Pizza

Sirloin Steak with Dijon Port Sauce and Noodles

“Best” Burgers on Pretzel Rolls

Salmon & RicePull Apart Coffee Cake

I also made a Pull Apart Coffee Cake for the “Judges Room” at the competition this weekend.  It was delicious!

On Friday night I had a special mother-son date night with Max, we attended the Art of Food at the Carnegie in Covington.  It was an amazing experience.  Check out all of the picture from this event in my Art of Food post.
