Five Easy AppetizersI have lots of favorite easy appetizer recipes, because I love making Hors d’oeuvres for any occasion.  Over the Thanksgiving weekend we had five different events going on!  So I had lots of easy appetizers to make.  I put together five of my favorite easy appetizers this weekend and thought I’d share the recipes with my readers in case you have an upcoming holiday party you need to bring a snack to.  If none of these are what you are looking for then check out my Appetizer Recipe Archives.  Bon Apetit!

Five Easy Appetizers:

Guacamole ~ Don’t be intimidated by the thought of scooping out the innards of avocados, it’s super easy to do.  This guacamole always gets rave reviews at parties, and I promise, it’s easy to make.  GAUCAMOLE RECIPE

Jalapeno Popper Spread ~ Want to add a little kick to your party?  Try this Jalapeno Popper Spread.  It’s such an easy appetizer to make and it’s gobbled up every time I make it.  This weekend we served the Jalapeno Spread with Homemade Pita Chips, and I also topped the dip with jalapenos that Michael canned himself.  It was scrumptious!  JALAPENO POPPER SPREAD and HOMEMADE TOASTED PITA CHIPS

Easy Bruschetta Dip ~ This easy appetizer is great because it is so versatile.  It can be served warm as a dip with pita chips, or you can top toasted baguette slices with the dip and sprinkle parm on top for a fancier appetizer, or it can also make a delicious pasta sauce.  And your house will smell amazing while it cooks!  EASY BRUSCHETTA DIP

Skyline Chili Dip ~ You’ll have to excuse me, but I did not get a picture of this dip at our party.  As soon as it came out of the oven it was descended upon by the crowd and I never got to snap a shot!  I did however get a picture of my minions sons working in the kitchen with me.  Max was so proud of himself because he put the Chili Dip together all on his own!  If you are a fan of Cincinnati Style Chili you should definitely try this dip!  To make it, spread a block of softened cream cheese in the bottom of a pie plate, top with a can of Cincinnati Style Chili (whichever brand is your fave) and then sprinkle shredded cheddar all over the top of the chili.  Heat in the oven at 350° for about 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.  Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Mini Cheeseburgers ~ We call these little baby White Castles because the ingredient combination makes these taste like everyone’s favorite late night sliders.  When I make these at parties I serve them with little bowls of ketchup and mustard.  Yum!   MINI CHEESEBURGER APPETIZER RECIPE
