Broadway in Cincinnati has brought a beloved children’s classic Disney movie to town and you will not want to miss it!  Ariel and friends swam into town this week for a some swimming and singing at the Aronoff Theatre.  Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be on the big stage until January 29th and it is a fun experience for the whole family (or even for a girl’s night out).  I always loved The Little Mermaid, so I found myself singing along throughout the show.

This production of Disney’s Little Mermaid has all the old classic songs I remembered and know by heart, but there are also some new songs that I will have to try to start learning the lyrics of.  There are also a few additions to the story to make it even more interesting.  The performers and musicians were fantastic and the show moves so fluidly and seamlessly that you can tell that the entire support cast and crew is awesome as well.  Sam asked me when I left who my favorite characters were, and I really could not pin it down…I started naming one or two and by the time we walked to the car I had named most of the cast!  This show is a must see for families…do not miss it before Ariel swims off in a few weeks!
