I remember watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Beta Max at my grandparents’ house on a regular basis when I was very small.  Growing up I loved this movie, and I still do as an adult (both the old and new versions).  Now Broadway in Cincinnati has brought one of my favorite Roald Dahl stories to the big stage.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is at the Aronoff Center for the Arts and you do not want to miss this re-invention of a childhood classic.  If like me you are worried about what they have done with a childhood classic, have no fear!  The changes and updates that have been made to the story are awesome.  I was laughing so hard at times, and dancing in my seat at other times.  All in all it was a fantastic show…and you need to get your tickets now so you can see it before it’s too late!
