Strawberries & Cream Butter Cake
 
Ingredients
  • Layer 1 Ingredients:
  • 1 Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 Egg
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, melted
  • Layer 2 Ingredients:
  • Sliced Strawberries (about 1-2 cups)
  • Top Layer Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 6 Tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350˚ and spray a 9x13 cooking pan with cooking spray. Mix together the cake mix, one egg and 6 Tablespoons melted butter with a hand mixer. Using a spatula, pat this mixture into the bottom of the baking dish. Spread the strawberry slices in an even layer over this cake mixture. Mix together the cream cheese, another 6 Tablespoons of melted butter, 2 eggs, vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth. Carefully spread this cream cheese mixture over the strawberries and cake. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until golden brown on top and cake is set. Cool before serving.
