I mentioned my mother’s kitchen window in a post a few weeks back, and I thought I would share a picture of it so you can see how beautiful and unique it is. My mother has collected some gorgeous glass objects over the years, many of which are antiques, and they make looking through her window something like looking through a kaleidoscope. I love looking through her window, and examining all of the treasures. And I can recall all the times she stood at that window and watched us in the backyard, and now she stands there and watches the backyard. My mother’s window is like a little museum of colorful glass. Honestly, this window space is her pride and joy. That being said, my mother did recently have to get the glass in her kitchen window frame replaced. Over time, windows can become stained and discolored, and now the glass has been replaced, this window lets in so much more light. Whenever the morning sun hits the trinkets in the window it casts a beautiful rainbow-colored glow across the whole kitchen. Needless to say, the Portland window repair company that my mother hired to repair her window did a fantastic job. Do you have a favorite spot in your home? I think one of mine will always be this pretty window space. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
