It’s that time of year again…time to don your spurs & ten gallon hats and mosey on up to Williamsburg, Ohio for the Old West Festival. My children are beside themselves with glee that we get to go again this year. When the tickets arrived in the mail yesterday Sam practically danced with joy. We went last year and the kids had a blast. There is so much to see & do in this authentic old west town. Stepping through the gates you are no longer on the outskirts of Cincinnati in the year 2012, but instead you step right back in time to the wild wild west. My kids loved snacking on Kettle Corn while watching the horse shows, seeing gun fights in the middle of town, panning for gold, watching the shows (especially the lovely can-can dancers!), riding horses, and getting sworn in as deputies. It was a memorable day.
