For those that know me well, and those that read this blog regularly, you know that I’m obsessed with reading and that I love my local library. I was over the moon when I was asked to help promote an upcoming event for them, The Taste of Kenton County, which is an evening of culinary delight created to raise funds for the library. On Thursday, August 27th (6pm – 8:30pm) at the Erlanger Branch of the Kenton County Public Library you can taste delicious food from local eateries, try your luck at split the pot, listen to live music, sip wine, watch food demonstrations with Colonel De, bid on fabulous prizes in the Silent Auction and more! Along with live music from Pedal Steel Trio there will also be entertainment from the Pickled Brothers Circus (and they are AWESOME). It’s bound to be a fun evening!
Get your tickets today, because the price is cheaper if you order them ahead of time. Call your friends or plan a date night (leave the kids at home, this is adults only) – this could be a perfect way to celebrate the kids being back in school! Help the Kenton County Public Library raise funds for programs and services that are not otherwise covered by their budget. One of these services is to provide “Kindergarten Kits” for every kindergartner in Kenton County. Our library really does do wonderful things for everyone in our community, and I’m happy to support them by attending this event!
Tickets: $25 in advance at http://www.kentonlibrary.org/taste or $35 at the door, includes food by the bite, while supplies last, wine, tea, water and entertainment
Disclaimer: We were given tickets to this event, but the opinions are 100% our own.
