You know the holidays are close at hand when the trains start rolling at Holiday Junction at the Cincinnati Museum Center! The Duke Energy Trains are celebrating their 70th anniversary this year at Holiday Junction at the Cincinnati Museum Center. From now until January 3rd 2016 you can visit the iconic train display at the Cincinnati History Museum at the Museum Center. A visit to Holiday Junction is free with paid admission to the Museum Center. There are several different displays with trains and miniature towns, a LEGO display, visits with Santa, as well as performances by Pogie & Patter, reindeer that used to entertain children long ago at the Pogue’s Department Store downtown. Yes, I’m old enough to remember visiting them there. There’s also a kid-sized train that munchkins can ride for $1. It’s a holiday excursion your family will love.
Holiday Junction:
Henry got to meet Jack the Conductor, who has been working with the Duke Energy (formerly Cincinnati Gas & Electric) Trains for 70 years! WOW!
