Wabi Sabi is THE place to get Sushi in Covington. We are big fans of their sushi rolls, especially since they are made with fresh ingredients and are half price all the time when you dine in.
Wabi Sabi does not just serve sushi though, there are other items on the menu for those who are not sushi fans. My non-sushi-eating family members are partial to the appetizers and the pad Thai. We love the Edamame, Calamari Tempura and Goyza appetizers. My boys and I love the sushi though and are always willing to try new things when we eat there, and unlike his mom, Max thinks the spicier the better!
If you have never tried sushi before then Wabi Sabi is a great place to try it since the rolls are half price and the perfect size for sharing. The sushi is always served with style and you can watch it be prepared right there in the dining room. We always love watching them create the sushi masterpieces.
The Wabi Sabi website sums up their menu pretty well: “The mission is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week”.
Along with great prices Wabi Sabi also has great service. The servers we’ve had always seem happy to walk us through the menu, make recommendations and describe the menu items. You can dine inside or outside on the patio at Wabi Sabi, and both are comfortable places to eat with really interesting decor. This restaurant is family friendly, but would make a great spot for a lunch meeting or date night as well. They also offer carry out (we’ve picked up sushi to take to Braxton Brewing for dinner) as well as catering for events.
