Founders Brewing Company Taproom

Founders Brewing Company has a Taproom in Grand Rapids, Michigan that is worth a visit if you are in the area, or even just driving through. We went a little out of our way on our way home from a vacation in Michigan just to stop for lunch at the Founders Brewing Company Taproom and I am so glad we did.

For many years we have known that Founders Brewing Company has some top notch beers (their porters are my favorite of their selection). Who knew that their food is amazing too?!? They have an extensive menu and it took me ages to decide what to eat. They offer appetizers, sandwiches, soup, salad, pizzas and more. The sandwiches are all created with a focus on the beers they brew. We all had a great meal, but if you go make sure if you get nothing else you get the Beer Cheese Dip. It was out of this world!

We had a delicious lunch, played some games with the kids and did a little shopping for beers to take home to share. We were able to purchase our favorite Founders brew, KBS, which is hard to find in our neck of the woods.

In addition to the Taproom, Founders also has a patio beer garden. It is a super laid back place to chill and hang out, and they offer live music at times as well. When in the Grand Rapids area stop by and check them out!
