Broadway in Cincinnati Presents: On Your Feet

Was the Cincinnati on Broadway Show ‘On Your Feet‘ a Musical or was it a dance party? It was hard to tell! I will say one thing…On Your Feet the Broadway Musical left me with a deep feeling of regret. And that was regret that I never saw Gloria Estefan live in concert. But if I had to have a consolation prize for not catching her in concert, it was getting to see On Your Feet on stage at the Aronoff in Cincinnati presented by Broadway in Cincinnati.

Never in any other Broadway show have I heard such an excited and loud applause at intermission. And at the end of the show all the cool kids were on their feet dancing along while giving a standing ovation. This show was over the top! I did my fair share of chair dancing and singing along. How can you avoid it at a show like this?!?!

The performers were AMAZING…especially the children! I felt like I was living vicariously in Gloria & Emilio’s life through this performance. I danced, I laughed, I sang and I cried a little bit too. And my teenage daughter who was not too familiar with Gloria Estefan’s music had a blast as well. This show has it all and you must catch it before it leaves town!
