If you are in the mood for Sushi in Northern Kentucky look no further than Sake Bomb Sushi & Korean BBQ on Dixie Highway. Their food is amazing and the service is fantastic.
This place is a favorite of our family because the Sushi lovers get top notch rolls and those of us who are not big fans of sushi have a wide variety of other dishes to choose from on their menu that offers both Korean and Japanese cuisine. Sake Bomb also offers Keto, Gluten Free and Vegetarian options if that is what you are looking for.

Our family has not found a menu item yet that is not met with rave reviews. The boys like to mix and match the sushi rolls and try new things while Mama loves the stone bowls with an egg on top. Michael and Ella mix it up with their orders and usually share a dish like Ramen or Spicy Chicken. And we all do love their pan fried dumplings.
Sake Bomb is locally owned, and the owner makes you feel like family when you come in to dine. The owner has even given my kids personal chopstick lessons with candy. There was no going back at that point…the kids declared Sake Bomb their favorite. I also love that Sake Bomb gives back to the community: they delivered meals to hospitals during COVID pandemic, have discounts for veterans and service members and give back in many other ways.
We have had some iffy experiences with Sushi carry out around town, but Sake Bomb does a great job with carry out orders. During the COVID Pandemic the indoor dining area was closed but they had a superior online ordering system with curbside pickup that we used several times.
Another perk offered by Sake Bomb is FREE sushi making classes for kids on the weekends. This is one adventure that is still on our list of things to do! Henry is a self taught sushi maker, but I think he would love to take this class. Plus I want to eat there again soon after writing this post. Sake Bomb also offers catering for events.
This picture looks super serious but I love it! It was taken days before the state shut down for COVID in March. Henry and his Dad had their eye on the tv watching the news while noshing on Sushi.
