Willy Wonka JRI have such a soft spot in my heart for Willy Wonka, Charlie Bucket, Grandpa Joe and the whole gang.  Roald Dahl’s book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” was one of my favorites growing up, and I’ve even re-read it a few times as an adult.  I’ve watched both movies repeatedly, as have my children.  And I’ll be quite honest, when I approached The Children’s Theatre about partnering for promotions this year it was because of Willy Wonka Jr.  I love Charlie & the Chocolate Factory!  I was so excited that they were going to bring it to the stage for families to enjoy!  We love going to all of the Children’s Theatre productions, but this is the show I’m most excited about this year.  It’s even more special, because later in April, Max will be in his school’s performance of Willy Wonka, playing the role of a dancing squirrel.  It’s a Willy Wonka sort of spring for our family!  Someone is going to have to hold me back from getting up on the stage and singing and dancing, I really just love Willy Wonka.  And I think as an added activity, I might try to get the kids to read the book by Roald Dahl before we go, because it’s such a classic.  Not only does my family get to attend Willy Wonka Jr., but I also have a voucher for four tickets to give away to one lucky winner!  You could take your family to the show!
