The Newport Aquarium is such a fun place to visit and to learn about sea life. I think we’re so lucky to have such an awesome Aquarium so close to where we live. We go whenever we get a chance. A few weeks back we had an opportunity to visit the Newport Aquarium for a behind the scenes tour and to learn about their Summer Camps. That’s right…the Aquarium offers summer camps! For six weeks this summer the Newport Aquarium will be hosting some fantastic camps for young children.
Here’s more details about the Newport Aquarium Summer Camps:
Camp WAVE: A Fintastic Experience for Kids!
The WAVE Foundation at the Newport Aquarium is offering an awesome week long day camp experience for children ages 6-13. The Finstitute Summer Camp promises to be a fun and educational adventure for your child. Register today for a “Finstitute” of fun this summer. Finstitute Camp is a unique experience. This is the only camp around where campers can have fun touching sharks and penguins, exploring the Ohio River, making crafts and playing games all while discovering the wonders of the natural world and making new friends.
Visit the WAVE Foundation Website to learn more about camp themes, camp dates, camp costs and more. They have several camps to choose from, and they are selling spots quickly so reserve your spot before the camp you desire is sold out! Newport Aquarium Summer Camps are a hot ticket!
