Last week we were treated to dinner at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville at the Horseshoe Casino to try out their newly re-vamped menu. We are big fans of casinos. As you are all aware I normally look for the best online sites according to US Gambling Sites. However, if you feel that you may have found a site that trumps them all then don’t be afraid of commenting below! A friend of mine is always telling me that the best online casinos are the ones that offer a no deposit bonus when you sign up to play. What do you think? Anyway, one of the best things about most land-based casinos is the food they offer. Of course, if you prefer gambling online you could always use this spinit bonus code and enjoy a home cooked dish, but there is just something special about eating out in my opinion. So, for our latest meal out we were treated to five different appetizers, plus an entree as well as two different desserts. This was great, because we got to get little tastes 
of many different menu items. There’s a very generous selection of seafood items on the new menu, but there’s plenty of red meat as well for those who aren’t fans of seafood. I had a terrible time choosing my entree at Margaritaville because there were just too many options that sounded tantalizing. They have everything from burgers to tacos to sandwiches to steak. I decided on the fish tacos and they were so very good. We also tried some delicious creamy Asiago Crap Dip, some Grilled Shrimp Skewers to write home about, Carne Asada Steak Quesadillas which were my favorite appetizer, and MORE! On a previous visit, I had their burger and it was super too. I also had the Volcano Nachos with my sister a while back, and I am mentioning that because I feel the Volcano Nachos are an experience everyone should have at least once in their life…it was Nacho Heaven!
At our visit last week we found all of the food that they served us to be incredibly good, and Max and Henry agreed. We only took Henry & Max because it was a dinner for four people, so I left my two pickiest eaters behind. But after checking out the menu and tasting some of the new offerings, I’m confident even my pickiest eater would find something he’d love on the menu. The Margaritaville menu offers appetizers, entrees, grilled items, salads, sides, burgers, sandwiches, desserts and of course, cocktails that were appropriately beach-themed. They also had a kids menu that was sure to please the munchkins. My boys opted for noodles, which surprised me given all the choices, but they gobbled them up.
All of our portions, both for the appetizers and the entrees were HUGE, we even had some leftovers. And the service at Margaritaville is awesome too. The staff seems so laid back and happy, even when the restuarant was packed. And they were quite efficient, I felt like we really didn’t have to wait long for anything. So as you can see, I feel like I can now say with a certain confidence that the new menu at Margaritaville is fantastic. Your taste buds will thank you for the experience of dining at Margraritaville!

Dinner at Margaritaville:
The atmosphere at Margaritaville makes you feel like you are heading to a beach party. The boys loved it.

The finished product – our Chocolate Hurricane dessert was AMAZING! There’s a little bit of everything on this plate: ice cream, brownies, candy, shortbread cookies, pirouette cookies, bananas, whipped cream, nuts, caramel sauce and chocolate sauce. It was quite a treat!!!
Margaritaville is located downtown at the Horseshoe Casino, which has a free parking lot. If you are taking children under the age of 21you must enter through the outside entrance of Margaritaville, as children are not permitted in the casino. Having young children can often be quite restrictive if you just want to play the slots. Thankfully online casinos means you can play from the comfort of your home. The book of of oz slot game is one of my personal favorites.
