It’s hard to keep kids entertained in restaurant, we’ve all tried things like this kids song. One of our favorite places to take the family to dine is Izzy’s. It’s a great place to eat with the kids because the Kids Menu is so reasonably priced and offers great choices for the kids. And as an added bonus, Kids EAT FREE on Saturdays! It’s a wonder I ever cook on Saturdays, it’s easier for us to just eat at Izzy’s, and cost-effective too. My kids have always given the Kids Menu two thumbs up, but they were pretty excited to hear about new menu choices when we dined at Izzy’s last week. There are new side item and beverage choices for the kids (that’s right…a drink is included with the meal!). Henry was so happy to hear that applesauce had been added to the menu and the older boys loved the chocolate milk option for their drink, since it’s a rare treat for them.
Last week for dinner the kids tried all different things on the menu. Ella had a cheeseburger, Henry had a hamburger, Sam had the chicken nuggets and Max had a grilled cheese. All of their favorites, and the meals were just the right size for their appetites. The Kids Menu:
While we were there to check out the kids meals Michael and I enjoyed a delicious dinner as well. I had the “Sir Charles’ Prime” Hamburger, and it was so good…I’d dare say it was one of the best burgers I’ve had. And it was paired with a potato pancake, because you can’t go to Izzy’s and not have a potato pancake! Michael had the Reuben, he’s always a fan of that sandwich.
The other thing my kids love to eat at Izzy’s is the PICKLES. It’s almost embarrassing how quickly my family annihilates that bowl of complimentary pickles!

Izzy’s, home of the “World’s Greatest Reuben,” has revamped its Kids Meal menu, offering parents new choices when it comes to both side items and drinks.
Designed for kids 14 and under, Izzy’s Kids Meal menu includes seven items, all priced at $3.99 – Corned Beef Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, Hot Dog, Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Grilled Cheese and Chicken Nuggets. Each menu item will now be served with the choice of mandarin orange slices, applesauce, or kiddie cakes – Izzy’s delicious potato pancakes in a smaller version – and include the choice of apple juice, white milk, chocolate milk, pink lemonade or fountain drink as a beverage.
