You must know by now how much I love easy appetizer recipes. Well here’s something you might not know about me, I cannot go to a party empty handed. That’s where all of my easy appetizers come in…I have a collection of easy appetizers that I can throw together in no time at all so I have a dish to take to a party! Here’s one of my favorites, a Pesto Cream Cheese Dip that is quite versatile because it can be paired with so many different snack foods. I’ve served this Pesto & Cream Cheese Dip with pretzels, crackers or veggies. It seems to go with everything!
Pesto Cream Cheese Dip:
1 package Cream Cheese (softened)
1/2 cup Pesto
2 Tbs. Milk
1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
1 pinch Kosher Salt
Put cream cheese, pesto, milk and salt into a mixing bowl and mix until blended (I like to use my hand mixer for this). Then gently stir in 3/4 of the bell pepper. Put cheese dip into a bowl to serve and sprinkle remaining chopped pepper on top. Voila! Easy dip!

Originally I got this recipe from a Philadelphia Cream Cheese cookbook, but I’ve changed it slightly over the years and I can’t find the original recipe online to link to. But I’ll say that it’s always better with Philadelphia Cream Cheese (not an ad, I’m just partial!).
- 1 package Cream Cheese (softened)
- ½ cup Pesto
- 2 Tbs. Milk
- 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 1 pinch Kosher Salt
- Put cream cheese, pesto, milk and salt into a mixing bowl and mix until blended (I like to use my hand mixer for this). Then gently stir in ¾ of the bell pepper. Put cheese dip into a bowl to serve and sprinkle remaining chopped pepper on top. Voila! Easy dip!
