I just finished my second crocheted afghan recently and I’m so excited about it that I want to share it with you. It’s not perfect by any means, but I am still proud of my work. I pieced together many granny squares that I had been stitching and storing for many months to make an afghan for my newest nephew. He seemed pretty pleased with the results, in my opinion. I love making granny squares and I love homemade gifts, so this afghan made me so happy to create and give to this special babe. I don’t have a pattern to share, but if you want to learn how to crochet or to make granny squares while crocheting I’d suggest finding someone in your family or community who crochets to help you. Another route is to watch YouTube videos, but I really enjoy my time with my Auntie Annie learning different crocheting techniques, so I always recommend finding someone who crochets to help you rather than using the internet. I’ve already started working on my next crocheting project, and I will share it with you as soon as it’s complete (most likely months or even years from now…I’m slow).
