While at the cemetery for my Aunt Peggy’s funeral last week a few of us gathered at my grandfather’s grave (Sam’s namesake), which was just rows away from my aunt’s resting place.  While we chatted, hugged, & shed a few tears Sam plopped down for a rest with his beloved otter.  Of all the grave stones surrounding us, he chose the one with which he had a connection.  Nobody pointed it out to him, nobody asked him to sit there.  He just wandered over and sat down.   It was a very sweet and tender moment.  I thank my Aunt Carol for capturing this special moment.
