Keeping Little Ones Occupied While You Take a Shower ::
I think I have found the perfect way to occupy my wild child toddler while I take a shower so that I don’t have to worry about what he’s getting into, soon we’re installing frameless glass doors so I’m able to keep an eye on him too. I simply fill the sink with water and let him play with bath toys in it. Genius! He loves it! Sometimes I even add a little bit of soap for bubbles (and cleanliness). The only downside is that I can’t pull him away from the sink when my shower is over, because he’s having so much fun. The upside though is that him playing in the sink this often is a great incentive for me to be more consistent about cleaning the bathroom. Surely I’m not the only one out there who shirks chores…
One more thing to note, make sure the toilet seat lid is DOWN just in case a stray bath toy should hop out of the sink.
How do you keep your little ones occupied while you take a shower in peace? I’d love to hear your ideas!

I usually lock them in their rooms while I shower!! totally kidding..although the thought has crossed my mind.I usually put a short movie/cartoon on for the 2 1/2 year old..bring the baby into my room and set some toys in front of her. If the 4 year old is home I tell her she's in charge while i'm in there..she loves that! 9 times out of 10..all 3 kids end up coming into the bathroom

I either shower when Josh is able to watch the kids, when they're both sleeping, or when Gabe is napping. If Trinity's awake, I just let her come in the shower with me. She thinks it's fun, and even though she hates getting water in her eyes in the bath, she doesn't care if the shower sprays water in her face.

If Ellie is not in her ball pit (a.k.a. tub), then I pull out a new toy – the key word being new. This is something she hasn't seen in a while or something safe from her brother's room. Last resort, I pull her in the shower with me – she sits on the floor and I take a "low-flow" shower. Kinda a pain in the rear … but like I said, last resort.
