The Kenton County Public Library just kicked off a brand new (FREE) program for families at the Covington location: Camp Wonderopolis. Camp Wonderopolis is running for six weeks, from July 9th until August 13th 2014. It is a great way for families to come together and learn about science. The night that we attended we enjoyed an awesome dinner from Kungfood Chu’s Amerasia and then enjoyed a hilarious & crazy science lesson from Science Matters. A fun time was had by all! I’ve always told people that the summer programming at the Kenton County Public Library is top-notch, and Camp Wonderopolis is no exception. I’m going to share some pictures from our evening at Camp Wonderopolis and the fun we had with Science Matters so you can see just how interesting the event was, and then you can head to the Kenton County Public Library website to sign your family up for an evening of science (sessions are filling quickly, so don’t delay!). Each week will be a different topic such as Zoology, Botany, Paleontology, and MORE! There’s something for everyone. For more details about this program you can visit Family Friendly Cincinnati’s post about Camp Wonderopolis.
