The Cincinnati Auto Expo:

The Cincinnati Auto Expo presented by Enquirer Media & Cars.com returns to Duke Energy Convention Center February 18-22, 2015. Brought to you by the Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Association (GCADA), more than 300 new vehicles will be represented by 35 manufacturers on the show floor.

Auto Expo Highlights

The only annual automotive industry event in Greater Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Auto Expo displays the latest model cars, trucks, SUVs, crossovers, hybrids and vans available on the market Cincinnati Auto Expo Flyertoday. Dealers and manufacturers will highlight 2015 models as well as limited edition and pre-production vehicles for 2016 and beyond.

“The Expo experience brings dealers under one roof, creating the largest new car showroom in the Greater Cincinnati area,†said Vicki Hart of Hart Productions, producer of the 2015 Auto Expo. “Bring your list of questions and speak with dealership and manufacturer experts on-site. There’s no sales pressure on the show floor. Sit behind the wheel, pop the hood and enjoy a truly hands-on opportunity to find the right vehicle for you and your family.†If you’re planning in purchasing one of the displayed vehicles then an important thing to remember is to insure it from a website such as www.moneyexpert.com, this way you’ll be protected in the event of an accident.

Enjoy a sneak peek of the Expo with $1 admission, $1 hot dogs and soft drinks, and $3 draft beers at the “Rev it Up!†Preview from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18. The event will benefit the Child Passenger Safety Program at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The GCADA presented a $25,000 check to the program in 2014.

Auto Expo  Ford robotIn its second year, the Safe Travel Family Zone will feature family-friendly activities and educational opportunities for parents and their children. Grab an Auto Expo Travel Log when you arrive and travel the show floor to discover six “passport†locations where children can learn more about vehicle safety and earn a special prize. The Stonelick Township Fire Department’s custom yellow Dragonfly Foundation fire truck will highlight the passport route. Children are invited to come on-board, learn about fire safety and get pictures taken.

A trampoline and swing set will be on-site all five days of the Expo. Caricatures, face painting and balloon animals with Frozen’s Anna will be available on-site Friday through Sunday, February 20 – 22. Free goody-bags will be given out to the first 3,000 children age eight (8) and under.

“As a parent of young children, travel safety is always top-of-mind,†adds Hart. “Parents and their kids will have the opportunity to learn together from our qualified partners on-site.

Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, the show’s charity partner, will promote its Child Passenger Safety Program with child car seat safety demonstrations and activities for children in the main lobby of Duke Energy Convention Center. Vehicle specialists and representatives will be on-site at the Expo to answer visitors’ questions and provide comprehensive information about new model features, innovation and technology on display. Vintage car dealers, insurance agencies and other industry-related companies will have booths at the show as well.

  • Wednesday, February 18: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 19: 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
  • Friday, February 20: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 21: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 22: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Admission for adults is $11. Adults can save $3 on admission by buying a ticket at Cincinnati-area Kroger stores. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, and Friday, February 20, adults can buy two tickets on-site for the price of one. When accompanied by a paying adult, admission for children (ages 12 and under) is free.
