While my family loves all of the productions put on by the Children’s Theatre, I’m going to be honest and say that Disney’s Aladdin JR. is the most highly anticipated show in our household! Max and Sam are both going to perform in their school’s production this spring (singing skeletons!) so this production by the Children’s Theatre is perfectly timed. And who am I kidding? Aladdin has always been one of my favorites of the Disney classics, so I’m pretty excited too. To top it all off, Bob Herzog from Channel 12 is starring as the Genie AND The Cincinnati Circus Company will be there! It’s bound to be a fantastic performance. Please don’t glare at my if you hear me singing along during the show…I just won’t be able to help myself, much to my children’s chagrin. Aladdin is a street rat who must borrow and steal to survive. When he runs into Princess Jasmine the day before her arranged wedding, they begin an unlikely friendship. In captivity, Aladdin finds a magical lamp revealing a Genie who grants wishes. Just wait till what happens next! This show will take you to “A Whole New World.”
DISNEY’S ALADDIN JR. is a collaboration with The Cincinnati Circus Company, who will bring jugglers, aerial acrobats, stilt walkers and more to the Taft Theatre stage! And, Local 12’s Bob Herzog will be featured as the Genie!

I have a voucher to give away that can be redeemed for 2 tickets to see Disney’s Aladdin JR. at the Taft Theatre on Friday, April 10th at 7:30pm. I will draw one random winner on Wednesday, April 1st at 8pm (That’s no joke!). The winner will be emailed and have 24 hours to contact me via email or another name will be drawn. I will mail you the voucher which you will need to take to the Taft Theater box office the day of the show (one hour before) to trade for tickets. Subject to availability.
