codfatherLent begins this week, and with it comes the tradition of eating Fish on Fridays.  We eat fish all year long because we love seafood, but we get especially excited about it during Lent.  It’s the best time of year to indulge in some delicious fried fish!  Each year during Lent Izzy’s serves up their own tasty Cod sandwich that is perfect when paired with a potato pancake (or slaw if that’s your thing).  Our local Izzy’s is one of our favorite places to eat or to pick up dinner on a busy night, and I can’t wait to go this week and grab a Cod sandwich.  I’ve been given a gift card to visit Izzy’s with my family and a gift card to give away to one lucky reader.  Read all about the Izzy’s Cod Lenten Special and then enter the giveaway below.  Good luck!
