Shrek JR. The MusicalThe Children’s Theater of Cincinnati is ending their season with a show the whole family is sure to love – Shrek the Musical JR.  And my favorite character in the movie, the Donkey, is going to be played by Cincinnati’s own Bob Herzog!  Our family has always enjoyed the Children’s Theatre productions we’ve seen, so I cannot wait to see what they do with Shrek.   Shrek will be showing from April 8th through April 17th.  The good folks of the Children’s Theatre have given my family tickets and have supplied me with a ticket voucher for one lucky winner to trade in for four tickets to Shrek on opening night!

A little more about Shrek the Musical JR:

Everyone’s favorite ogre is back in the hilarious stage spectacle based on the Oscar-winning smash hit film.  It’s a “big bright beautiful world” for everyone’s favorite ogre in “Shrek The Musical JR.,” based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film.  In a faraway kingdom, the green ogre Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits, runaways who’ve been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wise-cracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he’s handed a task – if he rescues feisty Princess Fiona from the Dragon-guarded tower, his swamp will be returned to him. But, a fairy tale wouldn’t be complete without unexpected twists and turns along the way.

I have vouchers to give away that can be redeemed for 4 tickets to see Shrek the Musical JR at the Taft Theatre on Friday, April 8th at 7:30 pm.  I will draw one random winner on Monday, March  21st at  8pm.  The winner will be emailed and have 24 hours to contact me via email or another name will be drawn. I will mail you the vouchers which you will need to take to the Taft Theater box office the day of the show (Box Office opens 90 minutes before) to trade for tickets.   Subject to availability.  Please be sure you are available on this date before entering the giveaway.
