Holiday Inn Express & Suites ~ Zanesville North, Ohio

Spring Break 2016: We spent a long weekend travelling to three different cities in Ohio finding unique & interesting places to explore and visit. We stayed in some awesome hotels, ate some great food and saw so many cool things! I’ll share our trip with you in a series of installments in the coming weeks to help inspire your own Ohio Road Trip!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites ~ Zanesville, Ohio

For our last night of our Spring Break trip in 2016 we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Zanesville. We had made Zanesville a stop on our trip so that we could visit my cousin David who works as a Vet at The Wilds, which is a wildlife conservation area and safari park. This was our first time staying at a Holiday Inn Express, so I really had no idea what to expect. Trying new hotels when travelling with four kids always makes me kind of nervous. Even if it’s just one night it needs to be our home away from home, and this Holiday Inn Express certainly fit that bill! In fact, the kids even complained that we were only staying at this hotel for one night.

At the Holiday Inn Express we stayed in a Suite and it was fabulous! We had two beds in the bedroom, a pullout sofa in the living room as well as a small kitchenette and a desk perfect for blogging. There were two TVs in the suite, a Keurig machine and plenty of room for six people to spread out. The Holiday Inn Express offered many amenities, like a pool, hot tub, exercise room and a complimentary breakfast that boasted a machine that made pancakes on the spot. Yes, that’s a thing…and my kids loved it. Everyone who worked at this establishment was so friendly and eager to help us out. We had such a lovely stay, and I’m sure we’ll visit again at some point. If you are travelling through Ohio and need a place to stay we give the Holiday Inn Express in Zanesville two thumbs up!
